InPaint 2.4

Inpaint reconstructs the selected image area from the pixel near the area boundary. Inpaint may be used to remove undesirable objects from still images.

Delete any unwanted object from your photo, such as extra power-line, people, text... The program will automatically inpaint the selected area to erase it.

I suggest editing tools should be added

you should add editing tools like for example: a paint brush or text tool so that it could be added and blended in, that would be great and add a promising increase in sales

As with all software, it takes time to get it useful for people to need. Indeed most people are very adept at Photoshop, so why not make it a plugin for Photoshop, the clone tool can do the same things manually, but it can take more time.

A standlone version could also work but in a lower price bracket.... say $19.99

I suggest you go after a slightly different audience. The kind of people who know photoshop aren't going to be convinced. And the kind who don't won't know what the clone stamp tool is.

Knowing your audience can be the difference between selling 3 copies and selling 3 million copies ;)

Add ability to select margin that references of original cut.

This program is good and working better than any other program, but sometimes it references weird places.

How about integration with the Windows Explorer, so that when you right click on a picture, you have an option to open it with InPaint !

Reprocessing the image increases its file size substantially and also reduces its quality. At best, the tool should only work on the area selected, without re-processing the rest of the image, so that increase in size and reduction in quality are min

Two suggestions:

1) Additional selection tools; 'Bezier Spline' would be nice, 'Magic Wand' would be great. 2) (Believe it or not) addition of some "noise" into the synthesized regions can actually improve the perception of detail and visual integration.

implement better zooming. Mouse wheel + Ctrl/Alt, zoom to current cursor location on image. And/or a selectable %-based zoom.

Working with 10mp images, I have to click the button to zoom in a notch, scroll the image as zooming can reset the position on the image, figure out if that was zoomed in enough...rinse and repeat.

Be able to decide which side next to the selected area to clone from.

Once an area is selected it would be nice to tell the program to clone the selection from the area to the left of the selection (or right or top or bottom). That way areas selected right next to a person wouldn't clone from part of the person.

improve it before selling it... on the screenshot example, the erased portion shows by being lighter (just as if the blending was done fron the text- lighte than the gold grass) It is far from being a professional tool for me, and wouldn't use it as

Here's the biggest issue -- the replacement area is always a rectangle, always oriented 90 deg. You can change it with the shift keys, but that's it. You need to make the replacement area draggable without X,Y restraint, just like the selection are

sell it for less or at least make it more of an image editing software than just a single tool. Photoshop has a 'content aware fill' already so it does exactly what this is supposed to do.

allow a removed item to be copied to the clipboard for use elsewhere.

Instead of just removing an object and discarding it, I'd like to see an option to save its image to the clipboard so that it can be pasted either somewhere else in the same picture or into another picture. This would be very useful to me.
